At 9 a.m., EVGENY VLADIMIROVICH KRYUKOV ( President of Russian General Military Hospital) led LEONID KARLOVICH BRIZHA ( Dean of trauma and orthopaedic hospital center), DENIS VLADIMIROVICH DAVYDOV ( Medicine surgical professor of medical scientific research institute of affiliated defense department) and SERGEY NIKOLAEVICH PEREKHODOV ( Russia exploits doctor, a senior surgeon) visited PLAGH for academic exchange. Directors of Orthopaedic Dept., Spine Dept., Joint Dept. and Trauma Dept. expressed warm welcome and showed them around and gave detailed introduction of the hospital.
After visiting the hospital, Chinese and Russian orthopedic experts had a lively cross-border medical seminar in both English and Russian. The two top countries orthopedic experts had a colorful and vivid academic exchange and experience report under orthopedic and trauma emergency topic.
At the end of the seminar, both sides reached a preliminary cooperation agreement on exchange program of young doctors of the two countries. There is no doubt that this handshake between the top hospitals is a milestone in the history of orthopaedic academic development between China and Russia. And we can expect further cooperation in near future.
